Granville Island is excited to welcome back the Tourism Challenge! This year, participants have a choice to do 1 of 2 scavenger hunts: Scavenger Hunt 1 requires social media, and Scavenger Hunt 2 does not. There are 5 questions on each one – make sure you read them carefully, as some offer multiple ways to answer them. For Scavenger Hunt 1, there is a list of tags that need to be used on each one, and on some individual ones, an additional tag is required. Please clearly indicate which options you took photos of when handing in your pass for a stamp so that they can verify the tags. Feel free to post them to your social media as a reel with all the tags, or as individual photos with the required tags.
We ask that all participants be patient and polite when getting stamps; the volunteers will need to check your phones if you do Scavenger Hunt 1. Any rude or aggressive behaviour will result in not getting stamps and being reported to Vancouver Tourism Challenge.
Getting stamps
Stamps are given at the Volunteer Table in the Public Market between 11am and 4pm, 7 days a week, and at Kaboodles in the Kids Market from 10am to 6pm, 7 days a week. If for some reason the table in the market is not open, please take your completed scavenger hunt to Kaboodles for your stamps.
