The Perelandra Project

The Perelandra Project is a science fiction interdisciplinary dance and theatre show featuring feminist and decolonial themes. Inspired by the novel “Perelandra” by CS Lewis this story follows an Englishman in the 1940’s who is sent to the Planet Venus by God to fight in a holy war only to discover that this world still lives in the Garden of Eden. Will Venus “Fall” as the Eve and Adam of the Bible story did or will the Indigenous Queen of this world choose something different for herself and her people?
