Printed with Love: A Valentine’s Printmaking Workshop with New Leaf Editions

Working in the tradition of one of Vancouver’s most singular print studios, you’ll learn the essentials of letterpress and print — including inking techniques, how to set your own type, operate the press, and how to print linocuts — all with hands-on guidance from New Leaf’s founder and Master Printer, Peter Braune. Participants are encouraged to bring a short snippet, a few lines from a favourite love poem, letter, or text to transform into a printed broadsheet and keepsake. This all-day workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to spend Valentine’s Day making something meaningful, by hand, and in good company.
