This is a storytelling show about the childhood of comedian Julie Kim. Julie was born to parents who immigrated from South Korea. Julie lived with her family in a small apartment above their convenience store in a low-to-lower-class neighbourhood in Toronto. Julie tells some stories that pertain to money, theft, food, disordered eating, gender, beauty, love, race, bullying, and more. You’ll cringe, cry, and crack up.
