DESCRIPTION:The Vancouver Fringe is an annual non-curated performing arts Festival. This year the Vancouver Fringe Festival runs on Granville Island and Gastown\, for over 11 days from September 4 to 14\, 2025. This year’s Fringe features 87 shows with more than 668 performances across 19 venues\, with performers from Canada\, the US\, Mexico\, the United Kingdom\, the Netherlands\, Japan\, China\, and Australia. The Festival also offers free nightly music and entertainment in the all-ages Fringe Bar\, located at the Ocean Artworks Pavilion on Granville Island\, as well as free programming as part of Kids Fringe for kids and their families. DESCRIPTION:Ctrl:N immerses the audience in an interactive co-creation with dancer and choreographer Audrey Gaussiran. Accompanied by a musician and a digital artist\, she engages in a dialogue with the spectators who\, armed with their phones\, are invited to share their original ideas by sending text messages directly projected on a screen. They thus influence the scenic space\, movements\, or themes of creation\, passing from the status of observer to one of co-creator. The audience becomes involved in an artistic creation aiming to democratize dance and raise current questions\, reflecting on the relevance of anonymous correspondence in the media and the overabundance of information in the digital age. Between improvisation\, performance art\, dance and cultural mediation\, Ctrl:N exposes the artists and the audience to a unique experience with each performance. \nFlamenco Rosario is proud to be co-presenting Audrey Gaussriran (Montreal) in Vancouver with Alliance Française with this innovative pop-up flamenco performance.
