The four-course menu includes beer-inspired West Coast cuisine\, with each course thoughtfully beer-paired with seasonal Granville Island Brewing releases. Future collaborative dinners will spotlight other BC beer\, wine\, and spirit producers and their offerings alongside Dockside’s globally influenced West Coast cuisine. \nThe Brewmaster’s Longtable Dinner begins with a Trio of Oysters and innovative accoutrements\, like a mignonette made from carbonated Granville Island Brewing Lager\, all paired with Granville Island Brewing False Creek Peach Sour. The opening plate is house-cured Duck Ham and Jam served with fried bread and grilled carrots\, complemented with Granville Island Brewing Kitsilano Juicy IPA. The main course and dessert are playful interchanges on two iconic Granville Island Brewing beers. Beer-Braised Beef is infused by Lions Winter Ale\, with creamy polenta plus kale and root vegetables and a pour of the brewery’s hearty English Bay Ale. The sweet ending incorporates the same brew in English Bay Ale Chocolate Cake served with whisky-poached fruit compôte and crème anglaise\, with a Lions Winter Ale alongside. \n“This is a great opportunity for us to collaborate with our community and engage our diners in a creative way\,” says Chef Driemel\, who looks forward to partnering with more BC craft brewers\, distillers\, and winemakers on unique dining experiences in the Longtable Dinner Series. \nFor event details and tickets\, click here.

All Aboard will bring together diverse community groups within Vancouver including all-women’s skateboard organizations\, adult beginner skateboarders\, children groups\, and the LGBTQ skateboarding community. All Aboard is also a pilot project for a covered mini-ramp that will be available for skateboarding through the end of 2019. DESCRIPTION:Beanstock Coffee Festival invites coffee lovers from Vancouver and beyond\, to join us at Granville Island and connect with local micro-roasters\, sample some of the best craft coffee in Western Canada\, and learn about the importance of socially responsible brew. Thirty roasters from Western Canada will be showcasing and serving up their best hand-made coffees including such third wave specialists as Pallet Coffee Roasters\, Agro Coffee Roasters and Luna Coffee. Roasters will also rotate through sessions on the espresso bar using the world’s latest and best espresso machines. Local food\, wine\, beer\, and music will keep the energy high along with coffee tastings; it is a festival after all!
