From October 15 to December 1st the Granville Island Public Market and ‘Island’ wide restaurants invite locals for a fall food, drink, and dining promotion.
PUBLIC MARKET
Just a few of the value packed, discounted items being offered in the Public Market include a special Charcuterie platter for two at Oyama Sausage, muffin and coffee pairings, freshly grilled gourmet burgers with a drink, and three course meals for between $18 and $30 in the Public Market’s food court. Public Market offering include special menus from A la Mode, Blue Parrot, Chau Veggie, Gourmet Wok, Kaisereck Deli, La Tortilleria, Market Grill, Muffin Granny, Oyama Sausage, and Sprig.

RESTAURANTS – Three course menus $35 – $45
Granville Island’s almost 40 acres is home to some of Vancouver’s most award-winning restaurants. With nine restaurants, and water on three sides of the ‘Island’, you’re guaranteed to have a table with a view in most of them. Restaurants are offering specially priced three-course menus from $25 to $45, making for a very affordable night out in one of the ‘most inspiring public places in the world’.
Granville Island restaurants aren’t just offering a discounted menu, they are highlighting some of their best dishes and unique cuisine. Find the freshest seafood at Vancouver Fish Company, with both a 3-course dinner and a 3-course lunch menu, BRIDGES Tap & Barrel offers a menu only available at Granville Island, while the award-winning cuisine of northern Mexico is highlighted at Alimentaria Mexicana. Restaurants include The Sandbar, Dockside, in the Granville Island Hotel, The Keg (turning 50 this year, their Granville Island location was just their 2nd location back then) and the newly renovated Tap Room in the Granville Island Brewery invites you to try their new menu with a beer pairing.
Make it a dinner and theatre night out and take in a performance at one of the seven theatres on the Island. If you’re lucky, you could win tickets for two to the Arts Club Theatre Granville Island stage, or a night of comedy at The Improv Centre, along with shopping bags, umbrellas, and gift cards through Granville Island’s social media pages.

DON’T MIND THE MESS
Visitors may notice a whole lot of scaffolding around the Public Market, but not to worry, it’s business as usual with all businesses open. The Public Market building is over 150 years old, with the last renovation taking place 47 years ago when the Public Market opened, and a new roof is needed. No real changes, but as the Granville Island Public Market prepares to celebrate 50 years in 2029, we want that roof to last another 50 years!
